From 1 January 2024 to 30 June 2024, the Belgian Parliamentary System will organise the parliamentary dimension of the Belgian presidency of the Council of the European Union. The role of national parliaments in European policy making has increased significantly. Inter-parliamentary cooperation has therefore become much more important. 

That is why the Belgian parliaments are inviting members of parliament from all over the European Union and beyond to the various conferences it is organising from January onwards.

Not only the Federal Parliament, but also several regional parliaments will organise conference as part of the Belgian Parliamentary System.
